Catalog-Filter Pricerange Filtering

Post by Doggiefield » 13 May 2020, 13:16

Hi,

We are trying to get a solid filter function for our shop.
But we couldn't find any info on a pricerange filter. Is there a default section in the catalog-filter for a price filter?
If not, what is the best way to implement this?

Not yet but we would like to add this to Aimeos. If you can provide the frontend template, we will care about the backend implementation :-)

Has this happened yet? If not, I can take a crack at it.

Due to our current projects it would take us probably a month or so before we can start on this.
So if you have the chance to get this done; that would be great!

Can you clarify the need? Is it just a filter box for the Price Range?

We need just a basic priceslider, but when the filterfunction is used it should only use the prices of the filtered result.
I was thinking on a slider like this: https://www.jqueryscript.net/form/Price ... ry-UI.html
This has the option to use a slider or fill in the min & max amount.

Hi Steve,
Did you manage to build the frontend implementation?

The 2020.10 release already contains a price filter component but a little bit simpler than that.
