Service > Delivery

Post by KarstenSoll » 24 Apr 2017, 16:10

Hi,

I would like to ad DHL as service for delivery. What is the right "key" and "class" for this service? When I try "dhl" I get the Message: Class "\Aimeos\MShop\Service\Provider\Delivery\dhl" not available. Is there a comprehensible guide about this? - Can't find anything in your documentation that helps me any further.

Kind regads

Round about four times! But it dosen't make any sense to me. I did everything like on your screenshot (https://aimeos.org/docs/File:Admin-back ... e-list.png) and it works quite well with the payment.

By the way, your manual meight be good for someone that is familar to the whole concept, but for newbees it contains a lot of questions.

But what's realy disturbing me is, that if I'm using the database analyser of Typo3 (in the Install-Tool), all tables of the extension will be removed. I know it's quite easy to bring them back by the aimeos-module, but all pre-installed settings and the products are gone! Would be nice if you could make it more Typo3 compatible. - Thats why I'm in that mess, that I need to recreate the delivery settings ;)

Kind regards

Well, there's no delivery provider named "DHL" or alike, only "Default" and "Manual". The first one creates a XML, the last one is for processing orders by hand. If you only want to show your customers a delivery option named "DHL", simply use the "Manual" delivery provider.

We update the docs whenever questions arise. Your main problem seemed to be distinguishing between what is shown to the customer and what delivery provider is executed in the background after the order is placed.
