Order ID mismatch on checkout

While checkout process if the process breaks its shows the change payment method button after that when the process successfully complete then their order id and order base id change

So kindly tell me how can I overcome this issue.

A new order is created when a customer changes the payment because the payment gateways track the order IDs and reject order IDs which have been passed before.
