How to delete customer addresses

Hi,
it is easy to add another delivery address for a customer.
But, as soon as it is saved, there seems to be no way to delete this address, again.
When I start to create a new item, this item still has buttons to move and delete the address. However, when the address is saved, these buttons are not available.
I noticed this in version 19.

Is the "X" for deleting the address missing in the address step of the checkout process?
