You can upload videos in the "Image" tab of the admin interface too as well as all other files. In the 2019.x releases, the tab has been renamed to "Media".

If you or someone else finds the problem, please create a PR and we are happy to integrate it into Aimeos. At the moment, we don't know what the problem is.
