Help for Aimeos

I wonder, has anyone successfully implemented such a suggested menu, i.e. Typoscript?
It would be a great help for me to know whether if it works as, I will be forced to use 2 currencies.
It has no sense to even think about building such a menu if it fails.

The subcategory is only shown on hovering after clicking/opening the main category.
The same behaviour on mobile: first click the main category -> main category opens, only now the subcategory is visible.

In the CSS:

somewhere around line 5780 you will find:
.locale-select {
display: none;
}
so the locale selector is not displayed, just uncomment these lines and the selector will show.
