How can I turn off/hide the languageID in emails?

Isn't it available with typoscript? After an update I have to adapt it again...

It's a translation you can change, maybe also via TS if you get the new lines right in TS:

I only want to hide that field, not translate it.

The address output is generated by printf() using a string with positional parameters (e.g. %1$s) where the address field data is inserted. Thus, you can change the string and remove the parameter for the language (i.e. %13$s in this case) by configuring a new translation string.
