There can be prices of several types (real price, recommended price, etc.).
If there's a list table available for the data domain (currently: for attribute, catalog, media, price, product, service, supplier, text) to associate records from other data domain, the list table contains a "type" column too. It's used as a second option for grouping data. For example, in the mshop_product_list table products are assigned to products with different types, e.g. related, suggestion, etc.
