Now that I have seperated from reading incomplete often contradictive blog posts and watching some of the same on youtube , I think I got this.

Though I do have 2 questions:

Is it required to have laravel installed or only for development?

Where in the env file?

Running PHP 8 in the cli not sure what verion that was and I removed it.

You need to have PHP development and at least basic Laravel knowledge to install and adapt Aimeos. It's not meant for end users (Shopify may be a better alternative in this case).

Installation is straight forward as long as you read and take care of the requirements:

Laravel is required and already part of the Aimeos distribution, so it's mandatory. The .env file is in the application directory like for any other Laravel application.
