Boost for products

Hi. In the project for now I have 2 products. They have the same labels and the same category. And the don't have any texts prices and etc. For the second product I increased the boost from 1 to 1.5. And for the first product the boost is 1. When I go to link MY_DOMAIN/shop/CATEGORY_NAME~CATEGORY_ID I see these products but first there is a product with a boost of 1 and then a product with a boost of 1.5. But as a rule, shouldn't it be the other way around ?

The boost value is only used when doing a fulltext search. For a regular category list, the position of the product in the category applies (you can check in the Categories > Products sub-panel)
