Wrapping divs in default layout breaks aimeos javascript

I have my content main section wrapped in a div to assign some necessary classes. This however breaks aimeos javascript:




I tried setting a custom layoutRootPath for aimeos via plugin.tx_aimeos.view.layoutRootPaths.100 = [...] but this is being ignored.

I am using v22.10. I have worked with older versions of aimeos and never had this problem. What am I doing wrong?

Adding HTML via TypoScript to all pages breaks any generated JS code and you have to suppress that at the "count" page. Take a look at the TypoScript template of the "jsonapi" page, which tries to disable all kinds of additional HTML injection.
