Shop doesn't send emails

Hi everybody,

hopefully this is the right place for my problem.
I've installed the Aimeos Shop which wasn't easy. I faced many problems which I fortunatelly solved somehow.
But there's still a Problem left. The shop doesn't send emails. I completed several orders but never received a confirmation mail or any other.
My TYPO3 Installation (6.2.15) is able to send mails (checked in the Install Tool). So where do I have to look for the problem? What could be the cause?
Any help apreciated! Thanks in advance.

Did you've added, configured and executed the e-mail scheduler task?

Thank you for this quick answer!

No, I haven't configured the scheduler. I can only find scheduled tasks there (like its name says). But this is not about status emails.
I want the shop to send e.g. a confirmation email after an order has been placed. I don't think there's a scheduled task necessary for this. That's no recurring task.
I guess there's a general problem that prevents the shop from sending emails...?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Sending confirmation e-mails is decoupled from ordering by the customer and therefore you have to set up the scheduler task to send that e-mails. Confirmation e-mails are sent by the "Order payment related e-mails" job of the e-mail task. Please have a look into the documentation of how to set up the scheduler tasks:

Thank you very much. I really appreciate that quick help!
In my hosting package there are no CRONjobs available. I'm going to upgrade it.
