laravel project still alive?

I was surprised to see that there is no progress on github since 2016 if I read Insight > Code frequency correctly. Was the laravel project abandoned then?

This is a wrong interpretation, there are commits in Aimeos repositories every day. Just have a look into the commit history of each repository to see the progress.

I closely follow the updates, and the Aimeos team consistently commits changes. The community also actively supports the project by contributing improvements and fixes.

I use Laravel Aimeos in my e-commerce projects, and I firmly believe that it has a bright present and future!
