new customer from admin panel

Hello, I cant add a password even though I am a superuser when I create a new user from the admin panel, How will the user login to the panel without a password? Why can't I add a password?

If you are really a superuser, you can change all passwords and also add passwords for new users. Administrators and editors can only edit their own passwords and can't enter passwords for new users. They have to use the password recovery to get a new one.

We will improve that and make it more sophisticated without sacrificing security in the future but first we need a policies framework as base.

Thanks for the reply. But my question is related with another issue. Let me explain it briefly.

I am a superadmin and I am adding a new user as a customer from the admin panel. After I create the user I can not see the password area! I want to create a user a customer and give a new password. How can I solve this problem. Thanks a lot for your reply.

Do you use the latest Aimeos version? Can you post the output of "composer show"?

Changing passwords for customers as superuser has be re-enabled again and will be part of the next ai-admin-jqadm release.

As a super user, I have the authority to change passwords on accounts that already exist. My question is about not being able to add a password when creating a new customer. I can change the existing password, but when I create a new customer, I cannot give it a password.
