How are Best Sallers determined in the system?

How are Best Sallers determined in the system?

By what criteria is the Best Saller group determined: manually by rating, by logic based on the number of products sold, or is it just an abstract category that is assigned manually by administrators?

There's no automated logic to add products to the "Best sellers" demo category. It's simply a category like every other one.
