Your text is a bad example because it has a language ID of NULL and thus it's not added to the index. We will fix that in the next release. Just assign a language ID to your text for the moment.

I've seen that texts with language ID NULL are already added to the index.
Is your example text to stored in the mshop_index_text table after you save the product in the backend?
