About

Stadler Form AG is a Zug-based company that has been working with passion on innovations for households since 1998. The aim of product development is to create shapely, useful and practical household appliances and make them available to potential customers. The products are then sold via the company's own website. As a manufacturer, Stadler Form has so far presented the products on its website in a high quality but has not sold them directly.

The web application

The existing catalogue on the website was converted into an attractive and very functional online shop. This was made possible by the combined use of Aimeos and TYPO3. Aimeos provides a complete set of e-commerce components that can be easily integrated into existing TYPO3 pages.

Thus, the shopping cart button from the Aimeos detail component could be added to the existing products pages containing lots of content and custom elements. The components for the shopping basket and the checkout process as well as the e-mail handling have been adapted to the new design and integrated into own pages on the web site.

Results

Within one week, several products have already been sold and delivered without advertising measures for the new online shop. This is in part due to the non-binding price recommendations, which were integrated into the online shop accordingly. The shop is still only reachable from Switzerland, but an international expansion is already being planned.
