Re: Multiple Tax Fields in Prices Section
Hi,
I'm happy to report that Aimeos is grabbing traction in Canada, but we're starting to get more an more requests about this nasty tax rate. I see "Local Tax" in the Product Price Properties, but how can I rename it to "GST" or "PST"?
Also, another fun regulation with taxes in Canada is that we don't charge them to customers outside of Canada. So, is there a way to tax exempt based on customer country?
Thanks as always!
-Scott.

The final implementation differs a bit, you can find documentation how to use it here:superscotty19 wrote: ↑14 May 2020, 01:53 I'm happy to report that Aimeos is grabbing traction in Canada, but we're starting to get more an more requests about this nasty tax rate. Yes, the Vatcheck extension from the Aimeos company does that:superscotty19 wrote: ↑14 May 2020, 01:53 Also, another fun regulation with taxes in Canada is that we don't charge them to customers outside of Canada. So, is there a way to tax exempt based on customer country?

For different tax rates for a defined list of countries or states, you can also use the Taxrate plugin:
