Stadler Form AG is a Zug-based company that works with passion on innovations for households since 1998. We create shapely, useful and practical household appliances and make them available to potential customers. As a manufacturer, Stadler Form only presented the high quality products on our website in the past. Now, we've started to sell the products via our company website.
The web application
The existing catalogue on the website was converted into an attractive and very functional online shop by the combining TYPO3 CMS and Aimeos. Aimeos provides a complete set of e-commerce components that can be integrated easily into existing TYPO3 pages.
Thus, the shopping cart button from the Aimeos detail component is now part of the existing products pages containing lots of content and custom elements. We've adapted the components for the shopping basket and the checkout process as well as the e-mail handling to the new design and integrated them into own pages on the web site.
Results
Within one week, several products have already been sold and delivered without advertising measures for the new online shop. This is in part due to the non-binding price recommendations, which were integrated into the online shop accordingly. The shop is still only reachable from Switzerland, but an international expansion is already being planned.
